PMFBY : Rabi 2018-19 has started on Digital Seva Portal

Dear All,

Enrolment of Non Loanee farmer’s for PMFBY Rabi 2018-19 has been started on Digital Seva Portal – Government – Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for Tamilnadu.

Pls Note : We have received many complaints from Insurance Companies regarding uploading of wrong docs, bank statements & low quality of scanning in last PMFBY Season of Kharib 2018, even wrong/another farmers docs were uploaded by some VLEs.

These proposals may be subject to Rejection by insurance companies & premium will be refunded to the Farmer’s bank account.

Pls inform below mentioned to all the VLEs :

In this Season please enrol Non Loanee Farmers with considering below points :

Do’s

1. Upload CORRECT docs only.

2. Scanned documents should be CLEAR.

3. Scanned documents should be READABLE.

4. Do ONLY ONE transaction of every farmer for their multiple crops, Use Add Crops option.

Don’ts

1. Don’t charge any extra amount from the Farmer except premium mentioned on Acknowledgement Receipt.

2. Low quality scan docs may subject to rejection by Insurance Companies & VLEs should be held liable for these Rejections.

3. Don’t create Fresh entry of different Crops of single Farmer. Use Add Crops option in single application.
