2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 30 ஆம் தேதிவரை நாடு முழுவதும் 65,434 பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட பெண்கள் VLE க்கள் உள்ளன.2014 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம்வரை 13,204 சி.எஸ்.சி கள் மட்டுமே இருந்தனர், சி.எஸ்.சி களின் ஒரு சிறிய குழுவினரிடமிருந்து டி.எல்.சி. மின்-ஆளுனர் சர்வீசஸ் இந்தியா லிமிடெட் பெண்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் வழங்குவதன் மூலம், தற்போதைய அரசால் ஆதரிக்கப்பட்டது. 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் மாதம் 65,434 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.

பெண்கள் சேவைகள் மற்றும் பெண்களுக்கு வீடுகளுக்கு நெருக்கமான விலையுயர்ந்த மற்றும் அணுகக்கூடிய சுகாதாரப் பொருட்களை வழங்குவதற்கான நிலையான மாதிரியை உருவாக்குவதற்கு 'ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாபிமன்' என்றழைக்கப்படும் பெண்களின் சுகாதார மற்றும் சுகாதாரம் குறித்த முன்முயற்சிகளால் பொது சேவைகள் மையங்கள் அமைக்கப்படுகின்றன. இந்த முயற்சிகளுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வு மற்றும் தனித்தனியான விழிப்புணர்வு மூலம் பெண்கள் தொழில்முனைவோரால் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு, சுகாதார துணியால் தயாரிக்கப்படும். கல்வி, உடல்நலம் மற்றும் தொழிலாளர் பங்களிப்பு ஆகியவற்றை துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக பாதிக்கும் பெண்கள் மற்றும் பெண்களுக்கு அபிவிருத்தி வாய்ப்புகளை அணுகுவதில் பாலின பிளவுகளை குறைப்பதில் அதன் பங்களிப்பை முன்னெடுத்துச் செல்வதற்கு இந்த முயற்சி முன்னெடுக்கிறது.

2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 30 ஆம் தேதியன்று, பெண்கள் VLE கள் பதிவு செய்துள்ள மொத்த 65,434 CSC க்கள் உள்ளன. 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் வரை, 13,204 சி.என்.சி.க்கள் மட்டுமே பெண்கள் வி.எல்.ஈ. பதிவு செய்துள்ளன. இதனால், கடந்த நான்கு  அரை வருடத்தில், பெண்கள் VLE களின் எண்ணிக்கையானது 52,230 பெண்களுக்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

As on 30 November, 2018, there are in total 65,434 registered Women VLEs across the country. The women empowerment initiative of the CSC E-Governance Services India Limited well supported by the present Government paved the way for the women participation in Digital India movement - from a small band of 13,204 CSCs in May, 2014, the strength of the women VLEs has risen to 65,434 at the close of November, 2018.

Common Services Centers, through its initiative for women’s health and hygiene, named ‘Stree Swabhiman’ is striving to create a sustainable model for providing affordable and accessible sanitary products close to the homes of adolescent girls and women. The initiative is driven by awareness and personalized outreach by women entrepreneurs who produce and market sanitary napkins themselves. The initiative aspires to play its part in reducing gender divide in access to development opportunities for girls and women which sadly affects access to education, health and workforce participation. 

As on 30 November, 2018, there are in total 65,434 CSCs registered by the Women VLEs. As in May, 2014, there were only 13,204 CSCs registered by the Women VLEs. Thereby, during the last four and a half years, number of Women VLEs has increased by 52,230 Women VLEs.
