Installing the Mac Utility Software In My System for PAN Portal

UTIITSL IS GOING AHEAD WITH MAC ADDRESS IMPLEMENTATION FORM 12 TH JUNE 2019 ONWARDS. ACCORDINGLY, VLEs MAY ACCESS TO THE APPLICATION THROUGH THE SPECIFIC MACHINES ONLY FOR THE TRANSACTIONS. TO CONTINUE WITH THE SMOOTH FUNCTIONING OF THE SERVICES ARRANGE TO DOWNLOAD PACKAGE AT YOU SYSTEMS AND FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION MANUAL.
PLEASE IMPLEMENT ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS IMMEDIATELY . . .

Step 1:- Download the JRE Software File
Check Your Pc Already Install Java Like
• If JDK is installed on the machine then set the JRE_HOME variable pointing to your
JRE installation folder , for example,
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_131\jre.
• If only JRE is installed on the machine then set JRE_HOME by pointing to JRE
installation folder, for example,
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_161
Note: if JRE is not installed then download the latest jre package and install before setting JRE_HOME variable - Download the JRE Software File
Step 2:- Login to UTIITSL PAN Website & Click on Download MAC utility for windows 32 bit OS.Download MAC utility for windows 64 bit OS.
as per your System Preference.

Step 3:- Copy this Downloaded File to ‘D:/’ Drive
Right Click on This file & Click on ‘Extract Files…’

Step 4:- Right Click on Computer & Click on ‘Properties’.

Step 5:- Click on ‘Advanced System settings’

Step 6:- Click on ‘Environment Variables’

Step 7:- Click on ‘New…’

Step 8:- Add Below Details :
Variable Name : JRE_HOME
Variable Value : C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_211
And Click on ‘OK’

Step 9:- Restart Your Computer.
Step 10:- Open ‘Command Prompt’ Type ‘D:’ & Hit Enter

Now type ‘cd macutility’ & Hit Enter
Now type ‘service.bat install’ & Hit Enter
[ If you are getting Error,]
The JAVA_HOME environment variable was NOT detected. Exiting service.bat
This Means JRE Software is not installed in your Computer, Download & Install JRE

Step 11:- Verify macutility service status
Open run window (Win+R)
Type services.msc command and then enter the screen will open shown as in the image
Find ‘UtiitslMacUtility’ & Click on ‘Start the Service’

Done !!
JAVA_HOME environment variable NOT detected Error Solution:-
To set the JRE_HOME or JAVA_HOME variable:
Locate your Java installation directory
1.
If you didn't change
the path during installation, it'll be something like C:\Program
Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_65
You can also
type where java at the command prompt.

Do one of the
following:
Windows 7 – Right click My Computer and select Properties > Advanced
Windows 8 – Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings
Windows 10 – Search for Environment Variables then select Edit the system environment variables
Windows 7 – Right click My Computer and select Properties > Advanced
Windows 8 – Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings
Windows 10 – Search for Environment Variables then select Edit the system environment variables
3.
Click the Environment
Variables button.
4.
Under System
Variables, click New.
5.
In the Variable
Name field, enter either:

JAVA_HOME if you
installed the JDK (Java Development Kit)
or
or
·
JRE_HOME if you
installed the JRE (Java Runtime Environment)
Instruction for uninstalling MAC utility from Windows OS
Step 1:- Open command prompt (cmd).
• Cd\
• cd macutility
Step 2:- Remove service.bat file.
Type service.bat remove
